Many teacher trainees are really concerned on receiving their allowances whiles they are home. The government has indicated that the allowance of trainees will be paid eight(8) months when they are in school.
Although trainees are not in school, but they have already started their second semester online and are in their fifth(5th) week of their academic calendar.
A message received from the Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) states that, “Allowance will be paid when it’s ready. Sorry we can’t give you a firm date yet but you will be notified once payment is made.”
Trainees are worried in receiving their allowances because most of them depends on it to pay their fees and during this online lectures, it can also be used to buy data and others.
